-CHANGING THE WORLD ONE HEART AT A TIME-

I first came to Europe from the U.S.A when I was 17. Within a few months of coming to Europe I ended up in the Former Yugoslavia where I spent almost 3 years working throughout Bosnia & Kosovo. Our organization “healing hearts” worked with large NGO’s like UNICEF, Save the Children, & KFOR. We organized free concerts bringing bands from the states & Europe. We brought in & distributed Humanitarian AID from sponsors in the US & Western Europe. We also performed clown shows in schools & refugee centers in almost all of the former Yugoslavian countries.
But one things I realized while there is that despite the well meaning intentions of countless Humanitarian organizations in the world, the world seems to be getting worse. I believe that to make a lasting difference in the world we must go to the core of the problem which i believe is the Mind & hearts of each of us… While there are countless Humanitarian organizations servicing the physical manifestations of this worlds evident sickness, few are tackling what I believe is the real reason for all the worlds problems.
The reason for the world’s problems can be boiled down to a simple lack of love for our fellow man. If we actually loved one another we wouldn’t kill each other in wars, steal from poorer countries, or sit silently by while others did this. To change the world & subsequently solve this world’s economic & social problems we must first change our hearts. We need to stop listening to the rhetoric of the main stream media that seeks to control our hearts & minds we must open our hearts to Our God of love who has the solutions to all our problems if we will only stop long enough to listen.
-WHAT WE DO-

NOMAD AT ONE OF THERE MANY CONCERTS.
The New Bottle Radicals are active in…
Music, & Festivals
We presently have 2 bands, NOMAD & XBedlam that have gigs regularly with video clips on MTV. Besides doing many concerts in Hungary & throughout Europe we often take our guitars to parks & festivals to play music & to talk with youth on a more personal level.

The Sziget Festival in Budapest Hungary, one of the largest now in Europe.

Playing music & dancing, The Sziget Festival Budapest Hungary.

Madlen at the EXIT Festival in Novi Sad Serbia.

When we visit a Festival we will go with anywhere from 10 to 50 volunteers & just spread out & talk to people. Sometimes we will bring the guitars along to help break the ice. But We have found that one of the best things we can do is just to listen to people share there hearts, & than we can offer Gods answers.
There’s always a heavy drug presence at these Music festivals. It’s always sad to see so many people waisting there lives. I think a lot of it has to do with youth being so idealistic & than growing up to reallies that the world you thought existed is mostly a lie & reality is very different.

Tatiana & Oli, getting ready to play some songs.
Clown Shows,
From hospitals, schools, refugee centers to community events we inspire entertain & encourage children & parents throughout central Europe.

David the clown at a hospital in Budapest Hungary.

Chrisy & Sari, singing at the Hospital.
Humanitarian Aid,
We have many companies & individuals throughout Europe donating food, clothes, & other necessities, which we are able to distribute to the needy & other mission centers throughout central Europe.

Running the Mission Center, is a full time job, as we run a school for the kids, while organizing weekly Bible classes & keeping the center presentable..
-IN CONCLUSION-
If you to want to change the world, take the time to stop running around in your busy life & get quite long enough to find the answers. Stop & pray & ask our God of love to help change your own life & heart to give you the strength & the humility to love others. Than start doing it step out from the mainstream of society & start living differently. If you don’t agree with the way your country or the way society does something than stand up & do something about it.
I know I can’t do it on my own I’m not nearly loving or humble enough to make a difference but I know that if I let Gods love shine through me than there’s nothing I can’t do. If you want to feel a freedom like you’ve never known before ask Jesus to come into your heart today & let’s see the world change. If you have any questions please write..
